    2011 - 2018 Explorer Power Steering Issue

    I too had a 2012 Explorer fail at 55 mph. The steering wheel froze. I was able to move to the shoulder as I was in the right lane. Who knows what would have happened if I was in a different situation when his happened. Car has been at dealer from Sept. 30th and today is Oct 23rd. Still no part!!!

    steering problem

    Rack & Pinion Problem I have a 2011 Eplorer Limited and I also have my car in the shop due to this problem. I left the car there on Sept. 28th and as of today Oct 23rd they still do not even have the part. It is suppose to be on "Back Order"!!! The steering wheel froze driving at 55 MPH...
