Here is a shot in the dark, but check to see if there is a way to adjust the treble, im not 100% on this but alot of newer oem cd playes have a preset equalizer where you can set it to Rock,Rap,etc. So check your owners manual and see if you can adjust it, if not just do as the second poster said.

Hey man it took me a hour and a half to install. The ignition harness is a little bit of a pain in the ass to get to but its possible. The range is great, starts easily and its a really good remote starter for the price, the t-harness saved me at least an hour if not more the thing is just plug...
