08 Explorer V6 Towing Question
V6 towing experience I used my 2009 V6 4X4 this weekend for the first time to tow my 20ft center console with 150 Yamaha. I have the towing package. Slippery leather steering wheel
Thanks. I hope it will get better with time. I am just trying to speed up the process. So far the leather conditioner has just made my hands softer, not the wheel. It seems to either just be a very hard leather, or it has some kind of coating on it. Different than the leather wheels on...- gulftracker

My new '09 EB has a good looking leather steering wheel, but the trouble is that it is quite slick compared to my '07 XLT and I dont feel the same level of driving control. '09 Spongy brake
I have an '09 4x4 v6 and the brake pedal travels a long way before any serious braking happens. I would say it is "spongy" My dealer says it is normal. I eventually get good braking and can get on the ABS if I push down a long way. It just takes an extra second before the braking starts so...- gulftracker
