    Only one problem with that! I've never worked on a Transmission before. I can rebuild the engine, no problem! I did just have someone offer me a complete 302 and transmission 4x4 for 650.00! Wondering if its worth it?

    Im new to the group. Found this group when searching for info on my Explorer. Have a 98 XLT with 223,000 miles (org tranny and engine!) Just killed the transmission on Wensday so now Im looking to have some fun with it! Thinking of putting a 302 with all wheel drive in? Jason
