Found the issue. As I have Dual Auto Temp Control I need to replace the Blower Control Module - FOMOCO #6L24-19E624-AA. It is right where all you fine folks have the resistor. This was driving me nuts - but now I know I am not going crazy...or blind.

Negative - at a total loss. Brought it to Advanced Auto where I bought the part. A guy there who is a mechanic came out for 10 minutes and couldn't find it either. Absolutely no idea. Maybe the Limited Edition is a bit different? Stopped by a local shop and guy said he would look at it -...

Comparing with pics above the wires going into the resistor should be just left of the silver hex. That looks like the bottom of the Blower Motor....but not the resistor.

Would love it if you could send me pics. I have an '08 Explorer Ltd 4x4 and can't find the blower resistor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can not, for the life of me, find the Blower Resistor on my 2008 Explorer Ltd 4x4. I see the large grey connector - but nothing near it with 4 distinct wires going into it like the picture above. I really appreciate the pics above and the insights of this thread - but if someone has a pic or...
