Complicated Series of failures or Simple Cause?
2001 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.0 SOHC 209,000 Well this seemed like it should belong in multiple areas, so it will just have to land here. Ok, so I know some of these problems have been beat to death. They all seem to have several dozen possible causes each with difference solutions...- bduke911

Problem with stock system... 4 speakers out.
Ok i have checked all the fuses i can find, which consist of the ones on the drivers side by the door, and all looks good. Any other fuses i should check? No offence, but why should i check one single speaker when all of them are out.... isnt it more likely that there is a short or a problem...- bduke911

Problem with stock system... 4 speakers out.
Yeah i was searching earlier and came up with only one post... It said that there was a fuse under the steering wheel somewhere near the parking break which i couldnt find. Other than that there are a few wires that are partially severed (that connect to the h/u) which shouldnt cause a failure...- bduke911

Hey, i am new to this forum and this problem has probably been seen before but i need some help. I am good with cars, but not so great with wiring. Anyway... I was driving home the other day listening to a cd (2000 Eddie Bauer) when the front four speakers just quit. The only thing working...- bduke911
