battery dead, ABS light constantly on, possibly water related
Make sure the battery posts are clean and tightened. Mine had the same problem. The cables were loose and the alternator wouldn't charge the battery, nor would the engine turn. My first clue was the volts gauge in the upper left hand corner of the insturment panel dancing around like a stripper...- flyboyerau

Fire Extinguisher - What type & size?
No way man. The corrosion is the same basic thing as rust. Oxygen molecules bond with the Aluminum. It normally happens slowly, but when heat is added, aka FIRE, it acts as a catylist to speed up the chemical reaction. You can't just wash it off.- flyboyerau

Fire Extinguisher - What type & size?
It does matter because if the fire is controllable and extinguised with dry chemical, then all the parts that were aluminum that were not damaged by fire, will be damaged by the subsiquent corrosion caused by the dry chemical. Which in turn means that the wallet will get smaller. BAD JUJU:)- flyboyerau

Fire Extinguisher - What type & size?
Yes, the range on Halon isn't very good, but how involved are you going to let this fire get? 8 feet is a long way to stand away from a fire and adequately knock it down. Halon also does become toxic, but the length of time of exposure is inadequate to have any adverse effects on your body...- flyboyerau

Fire Extinguisher - What type & size?
Well, here's the skinny on fire extinguishers. Probably in your wife's business, the extinguishers are all "ABC" dry chemical extinguishers. These work great on ash producing, flammable liquid, and some electrcal fires. The only drawback is that they are terribly corrosive if used on aluminum...- flyboyerau

No power to one rear brake light
Just went to the dealer and picked up a new multifunction switch. Installed it and everything works PERFECT!!!!!! No power to one rear brake light
Same Problem..... All work but the left light Ok, this isn't a big problem, but it is really annoying! All the brake lights work but the left (driver's side) one. Sometimes it will work when it wants to, but most of the time it doesn't. Here is the funny part. The low beams work, but when I...- flyboyerau

Walmart battery leaks 2 weeks old
I would take the battery back To Wal-Mart and go to a service station somewhere and pick up an Interstate Battery. The one for my 94 XLT was about 100 bucks three years ago. It goes through Phoenix, Arizona summers and Northern Arizona's below freezing winters without ever a problem! Even...- flyboyerau

'94 wheel bearings and hubs
Auto Hub Club I'm still all about the auto hubs. I went to a 4X4 shop in town and asked the guy there about the Warn manual hubs. He said they were good and that the auto hubs suck. I said that I didn't have the money at the time to put new hubs on. The guy there had just put the Warn manual...- flyboyerau

What color is the ford brake fluid
Well, in my 1994 Ex, it takes Type F fluid, which is a darkish red color. I got the info directly from Ford Technicians. I had to get a second opinion since the guy from Auto Zone told me it didn't take Type F. Hope this helps!- flyboyerau

Auto Hubs & Front Axle
Ok, thats a big help and i was doubting the broken u-joint anyway. The new problem is that I can lock the passenger side hub by hand by turning the u-joint manually so I know the passenger side works. The drivers side still does not work though. I need to pull it apart and get all of the grease...- flyboyerau

I put the Ex on jackstands to make sure power is going to the front axle. Here is the first problem...- flyboyerau

Cold Air Kit/MAF Sensor
I am new to this site. I have a bone stock 1994 Explorer 4.0 SOHC. I was wondering if ANYONE makes a good cold air intake for this particular model. Also, what about performance mass airflow sensors and throttle body spacers. Thank you! Aaron- flyboyerau
