    Bearings in 99 Explorer

    Have a 99 Explorer XLT 4 wheel drive. The front left bearing has gone out. I have found that you can't replace just the bearings, you have to do the whole front assembly. Anyone know about that? Also, how hard is it to change it out? Firestone (Why I took it there, I don't know) wanted...

    Switch??? Which Switch are you talking about???? I havent knowlingly unplugged anything. I have thought about taking the connections off and letting the computer reset to see if that fixs it. Let me know which switch you are talking about

    99 XLT 4hi/lo dash lights

    On my 99, my 4 wheel hi and lo lights on the dash flash at me three times then stop. Does anyone know what the 3 times stands for? It will not engage in 4 wheel drive at all, but the lights flash about once a minute three consecutive times and then quit. Thanks! Chris
