I'm looking at a 1999 4door, the 4x4 control has auto,4hi and 4lo.When I put it in 4hi and make a U turn rather tight it makes an ungodly sound till you apply power.The seller took it to a shop they say the u joints are OK and that the fluid coupling in the transfer case just acts this...

Hello My wife's 96 sport is leaking from what appears to be a breather on the front diff, is this common? What I don't understand is that it's summer and not being in 4WD why would it be spitting now. Thanks Rich
