    Engine light on/codes showing up

    Had to replace my DPFE on my 94 sport. Once I did, it ran great. I don't remember the codes though. If I were you, I would spend the $30 or so and buy a code scanner. They're easy to use and well worth the investment. Good Luck Darin

    If I were you, I would purchase a codes scanner. I have an Actron which I paid $30 for. This will pinpoint your problem by giving you the codes the computer has stored. You can get the unit at a local parts store. Good Luck Darin

    flashing "Check Engine " light

    I've got an Actron III scanner. It reads just about all fords prior to '96 (due to computer changes by ford). Your codes are not listed in my book. I would buy a scanner ($30) which will read you computer and get the correct codes. You will be using the right tool for the job. Darin
