Jl 8w0 I just asked the same question and nobody answered. I did a search and came across your post. I when to tweeter yesterday and picked up a JL 8W0. It is rated at 75 watts and 4ohms. '98 EB with sub. What ohm? 6-CD changer?
Mounting hole and speaker size? I did find out a few things about the sub from Crutchfield. The speaker is a slightly larger that 8". The mounting holes are exactly 8" across and the speaker is 8-3/8 inches wide. Must 8" speakers are measured from edge to edge meaning the mounting holes or...- 70mach351

First, I have removed the factory speaker and there is nothing but a Ford parts tag on it. This must be one of those .66/100% times. Secondly, I have never measured OHM, but I do have a meter and will give it a try. I thought sense someone here has done this before I could get a quick...- 70mach351
