Still Vibrating
The transmission was rebuilt and had to use a used/refurbished Shell/case. The transfer case work was all new stuff, and the axle that was replaced was supposed to be new, at least that is what we requested. It was repaired at a Ford dealership so God knows what they put in it. I have had the...- james3302

I drove around and the lights are still on, I stopped to eat, cut the vehicle off, and when I came back the lights were still on. I had a car that after driving for while and parking you could hear something bubbling under the hood. It was not overheating(not by the gauge). I replaced the fan, checked the sensor for the fan(electric fan). Ended up being the radiator cap. The spring on the cap and the seal was bad...- james3302

Replacing timing belt
I have 171,000 miles on my explorer and have not replaced the timing belt yet. I am wanting to change this myself to save some money. Dangling hose?
1995 Ford Explorer 4wd. It is about as big around as my pinky finger with a metal cap on the end of it, looks like some sort of vent line. It is coming out of a "box" that is on my front axle. The "box" is in between the chunk and the passenger front tire. The hose comes up near the radiator...- james3302

Maybe I should not have purchased an Explorer ? (warning: long)
Let's see, I have a 1995 Ford Explorer 4wd 170,000 miles bought it brandnew. I had the throttle cable replaced three time within the first 2 years. Transmission came apart and busted the case. Transfer case bearings had ended up being oval shaped and needed replacing along with the low gears...- james3302
