I got the harness from crutchfield also to bypass the amp. Really simple way of doing it, no cutting.

I just did all new speakers and a Head unit in my '97 and it was really easy. I got my stuff from crutchfield so they sent me installation master sheets and all the harnesses for free which was a big help.

I took off my front bumper liscense plate holder and now I have two holes in my bumper. Any suggestions as to what I could fill them with?

Hey I have the same kinda whine on my '97 V8 Xlt. Someone told me that its probably a transmission whine. Nothing to really worry about I guess. It happens on mine only when moving from a stop and slowing down to a stop also.

I have a black '97 explorer that I wanna put a new grill on. Anyone know of a good site to get one from. I was thinking usautoparts. Also which would look better the polished grill or the chrome grill?

I wanna take mine off to but won't it leave two big holes in the bumper.
