Ok, i have finally figured out i am missing my vacuum line on my transmission. I see one end of where the hose is suppose to connect, but i cant find the place on the A4LD Transmission where it goes. I have looked at a pic and cant locate it on the transmission. So if im looking at the tranny...- trentw2323

i figured it out, one of the leads on the sub is bad, so you reajust it and it fixes it, plus it sound slike it was ran hard. I guess ill just buy a new one.- trentw2323

I have a 1992 ford explorer xlt 4x4 with premium sound. I bought this from my buddy and he had put an aftermarket cd player in it. so i need to take the whole passenger side panel off, thats weird, they make a box around the sub so you would think that it would pop out. Thanks for the help.- trentw2323

I have a 1992 Explorer XLT 4x4. It has the buit in subwoofer in the back. Im curious how to get it out. It has molding around it but mo screws and it doent seen to want to "pop out". Anyone ever removed the sub. How do I do it? Tw- trentw2323

I bought a 1992 Explorer xlt 4x4 from a friend. The fuel gauge always shows empty, the temp gauge always shows cold, and the rpm gauge always shows 3000 rpm until i go above 3000. Im trying to find the vacuum regulator on the side of the transmission, i dont know what side or where it is. Also if the 4x4 is unrelated then i have another question. well im pretty sure that its the vacuum line considering one is missing on the vacuum line distributor. I just dont know what it is suppose to look like.- trentw2323

will i have that "vacuum distributer" so to speak on the driver side of the engine. It has 1 hose missing and there is one that goes to the transmission and since that would cause it not to go into 4x4 im guessing its that one, but if its a vacuum tube it should be connected to the tranny...- trentw2323

thats the one that runs strait down, i found that one but it comes down and has nothing connected to it, where is it suppose to go? It comes from the vacuum regulator then down and is an open tube.- trentw2323
