    Thanks, did just that. Cleaned MAF, changed PCV and replaced air/ fuel filters yesterday afternoon still did not start- left over night and it started right up!!. thanks again for your replies.

    have oil in my air box

    I tried doing a search could not find anything, new to the site and could not post under 911. My truck (1997 XLT 4x4 V6) would not start, went to check air filter and oil came out of it! I replaced fuel/ air filter and PVC and still won't start. I checked the spark plug and it was not oilly...
