    How old is too old to switch to synthetic?

    Thanks for the syth/blend comment! I just put it in my '94 with 113k for the first time and then read about oil leaks with full synths. I guess the dino oil in my blend will keep the holes pulgged, huh? :chug:

    Oil cooler question

    I have an after market oil cooler on my 94 XL 4x4 put on by the last owner. I am experiencing low oil pressure and higher than normal temps. Can someone explain how the oil cooler works? Is there a coolant in it that can leak/be replaced or does the oil just flow through it? can it get clogged...

    What oil is in your rig?

    Just wondering what using straight 30 wt oil would do in my 94 XL 4x4? It was good enough for dad right? Wondering if it will help with low oil pressure down here in Hot Oklahoma.
