Hey guys, the reason the headers fir the old lady's Mounty is because it has the gt-40 heads, but not the "p" heads. the part number that I ordered, received and put on her Mounty is: M-9430-E50. They even have a Ford Motorsport tag on one of the tubes. Hope this helps you out.............. :)

thanx for the info, i will ck this out. my neighbor has a scan tool from auto zone (the hand held kind) but i don't no if will go up that far in years(97). i also have been doing sum reading up on this site and if i understand it right there may have been a EGR bung on the stock manifold(s)...

i have a 97 mtneer w/ 5.0 and bought the FRPP headers for it as the stock manifolds went to crap. now, after 6 mos and 10k miles, the ck. engine lite comes on intermittently. anybody got a clue how to fix it? the dealership said the pcm shows numerous codes and i just put brand new O2 sensors in.
