    Using Synthetic Oil in 03 Explorer

    I'm considering changing to synthetic oil, and eventually installing an oil-bypass system based on info read in a seperate thread from aldive....But to start, I currently use the spec'd 5W-30, I read the 0-30W Synthetic Oil(Amisoil?) being recommended. Is this ok to use? Is it best to drain...
