    Thanks man, but why the factory brake controller plug, it has to have wires running somewhere? Do they run some where and just end? If so I could just splice wires off that and add the relays and fuses... I don’t understand fords logic of the V8 model, with a six speed, and only 1 1/4 hitch, but...

    Hi there, I have a 09 Ford Explorer xlt, with the 4.6... factory with a 1 1/4 hitch and 4 pin... I have a brake controller from my pervious vehicle, seen that I have a factory plug on my Ford Explorer, plugged it in a nothing... further looking, the factory plug is not extend to the rear...
