A rather odd ball A4LD(e) slipping.
valve body i`v found all a4ld have torque specs on valve body installments if you overtighten the outer bolts around the edge of the valve body this by itself will cause a no overdrive or a slipping overdrive as well as a delay in rev everything i`v read to this point tells me this is a...- stevieraysb

Tbars A4LD...Urgent help needed
pinch seal in thats not uncommon to see that pinch it`s called stakeing in the seal a4ld is known for the front seal blowing out by stakeing the seal in it prevents the seal from blowing out.you dont have to replace the bell houseing just restake the new seal in just like you found it- stevieraysb

toyota trans could you let me know what year the unit is you might want to check the mlps switch if this is a electronic controled unit the switch at the manual lever where the cable goes on the trans. this has been a common problem on some camery unit...- stevieraysb

band problem jt how you doing.if it was the overdrive band than yes you could remove the valve body and repair it. but now you have a problem the only way to fix your trans is to go inside it the band is located below the center support. im sure the band strut and anchor have most likely both...- stevieraysb
