Transmission
Is there any way of telling whether or not the transmission on my truck is the one that originally came with the vehicle? I just my transmission replaced with a rebuilt, used one, and I think that the garage sold me my own trasnmission. :exp:- JJLouis

Transmission Trouble
It looks like it's external. The fluid is definitely leaking out under the truck around the tranny area. My biggest concern is that the tranny needs to be replaced. Even a rebuilt one costs almost half of what I paid for the truck.- JJLouis

4X4 problem
I have autohubs, but the four wheel drive had been engaged from the time I left work until I got to where I was. Is there a way that I can check to see if the transfer case is engaging the front drive shaft without putting the truck on a lift?- JJLouis

4X4 problem
I don't think my four wheel drive is working. A few weeks ago I had it engaged, the light was on, but I got stuck in about a foot of snow and just sat there fishtailing. Any ideas?- JJLouis

What type of oil?
My owners manual didn't say anything, and there was nothing under the hood to let me know what type of oil I should use the last time I changed it. So, I put in 10w-40 is that o.k.?- JJLouis
