Manifold clamp?
Sorry I'm so late replying been busy. The "clamp" I referred is for holding one ear of exh manifold if you have a broken stud. Luckily mine's the bottom one next to the firewall on drivers side. I have since bought one for a newer GM v8 and it's close. Think I'll take it to a welder and have...- BenII

2004 Sport trac
Hey S, if you're hoping to save some gas be sure to do the brown wire mod. You cut the wire where it comes out of the transfer case and run the two up into the console to a toggle. This way when in two wheel drive it turns off the axles in front saving $$. If you ever have to put chains in the...- BenII

Is jack shaft front bolt supposed to be reused?
That could be what the parts guy did. He wasn't gone long. But he mentioned measuring it. I never thought it was a thread pitch gauge. Any way I reused it and it's good so far.- BenII

Is jack shaft front bolt supposed to be reused?
I figured the guy didn't have the 45.00 to spend on one bolt. The machine shop must've billed me looking up the specs on this bolt. Either way mines fine for now.- BenII

Is jack shaft front bolt supposed to be reused?
They say no but I refused mine w/ no problems. Trick is take it to a machine and have it mic"d for length. If it isn't stretched reuse it.- BenII

O2 plug different?
Hello everyone. Want to ask if anyone knows what year/years explorer had the round plug on the O2 sensors? Need to know since ordering one online and my plugs are square. I'm not sending it back so the year info will help when going to the yard to cut the upper one off. Thanks.- BenII

Manifold clamp?
Went to remove a stud and it broke about 1/4" below the surface of the head. It was the lowest rear stud on an explorer 4.0 engine. I've looked online and every one except for the 7.2? Ford are for GM vehicles. It's a simple plate or in my case like a piece of angle w/ a hole or two on one side...- BenII

Manifold clamp?
Hello all, I found I am in need of an exhaust manifold clamp. Problem is I've looked online and keep seeing these for GM vehicles, none for ford except for the 7. something engine. Mabe I'll make a template and have one made up. Any help here appreciated. B.R.- BenII

Compatible Engines for 4.0 SOHC swap
Joscibo, I read a reallt old post of yours about the mustang 4.0. Was wondering if it's still cheaper to go w/ one of these engines in the explorer. (In your area) , can't find one at a decent price here in SW Pa. Thanks, Ben R.- BenII
