Perhaps my post was not clear. These issues didn't develop until about 6 months after I bought it. Test drive was fine, and I have absolutely no OBD codes or warnings from the computer.- Windoz55

I just bought a 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0 v8 with 183K miles on it. Periodically, it would have trouble starting, but eventually turn over. Eventually, it just wouldn't start and stranded me. My initial troubleshooting revealed inadequate fuel delivery. Change the fuel filter; no joy. Checked...- Windoz55
