No Acceleration, and clunking !
sorry I guess I should have put that in the first post I changed in at 65K and everything was good , not to much shavings and nothing big! Also never had this problem before, always just had the delay and it would throw you back but not now! And nothing appears to be leaking from anywhere!- jfk2291984

Do they check this often ? I am going to Iraq and need to try and figure this out before I leave so that my wife can have a vehicle in working order. thanks- jfk2291984

No Acceleration, and clunking !
I have a 2000 XLT 5.0 AWD When I am driving at normal speeds there is a lack of power from either a rolling start or stopped .. when pushed to WOT the RPMs jump to 3K and stay there .. with no acceleration at all the engine sounds like it is pushing yet the vehicle just keeps going at the same...- jfk2291984

Lack of Power I have a 2000 XLT 5.0 AWD and lately when I am driving at normal speeds and give it gas and have WOT the RPM's jump to 3k and stay there and the Explorer sounds loud but doesn't accelerate! any ideas would help and one other thing when I deaccelerate ( with out applying the...- jfk2291984
