    Mounting the cd changer in the console

    I have a 2000 XLT now, but I have had a 91 and a 96, and the middle console is still fairly the same. I also have the very same 6 disc Clarion changer.     Where to run my 4 gauge power wire...

    This is my third Explorer, but my first V8. This engine takes up considerably more room in the engine compartment. I'm having some trouble locating a factory grommet to run my 4 gauge power wire trough. I would prefer the driver's side (battery side). Any suggestions?
