I had the wheels balanced and i still noticed it. It also seem to come and go depending on how windy it is or what direction you are cutting into the wind. I know that I am in need of new rotors this also could be the source of the shake. I just wondered because a few people who I have talked to...- Spud_16

I have heard rumors but who better to ask than other x owners. Anyone else get a shake at around 60mph. Just a faint shake, like the boxy shape might have something to do with it. This is on my 92 4 door.- Spud_16

Clunking while front driveshaft spinning
I am recently having trouble with the front drivetrain on my 92 explorer. If I engage the vehicle in 4x4 everthing is smooth until a loud clunk. This clunk returns ittermitently with no pattern what so ever. This problem stays even when the 4x4 is disengaged but the hubs are still locked, soon...- Spud_16
