head lamp problems
I had a similar problem with my 06 mounty except it was the ps turn signal. The dealer said it was a problem with the sjb. After he called in a wiring guy he eventually diagnosed it as a damaged wire going the hl cluster. It was covered under warranty so no prices were given.- notonto

Transfer Case ??
you can crawl under the vehicle and read the white sticker (take a flashlight) on the case. mine was a bw 4412 if i recall correctly.:exp:- notonto

RAP Module Location
i only had to remove the panel not the amp or woofer. the small black box your refer to which has made in canada on it is to the left of the rap module as you face the panel. the rap module is also black approx 4x4x1 inches with a white sticker on it. just to the right of the rap module is...- notonto

06 Explorer gear shift issue
mine did this too, took it to dealer, service rep said he had not seen this problem. i mentioned this forum and he said he would look for a tsb. he found the tsb and fixed it under warranty.:exp:- notonto

RAP Module Location
it is on the passenger side behind the rear side panel anterior to the amp and posterior to the seat belt. whats confusing is that on my merc the code printed on the module was only four digits, not five. i simply added a 0 befor the four digits when i punched in the code and it worked!:)- notonto

Hello from Cali!
I joined today and would like to say hello to all. My ford vehicles are a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer AWD which I use for tahoe and a 2003 Mazda truck which is my daily driver. Problems to date with the mercury include a bad blinker and a bad battery. To date I have had zero problems with the Mazda.- notonto
