Gray Molding on Sport Trac - want to match
Hey, I have an Alpine Green 2002 Ford Explorer Sportrac. I want to match the lower side panels (small), and the bumpers to Alpine Green. How should I go about doing this? Should I have the gray plastic just painted or are there aftermarket parts out there for the Sportrac that are smooth...- ThomasJ25

CLARION????????
Yeah, I have a Clarion DRX9675z in my 1998 Explorer Sport. Its supposed to be the top of the line CD deck before you get into Clarion's DVD decks. I have nothing but positive things to say about it, the only thing is that it is really sensitive to scratched CD's,, but other than that, its...- ThomasJ25

Who is interested in $100 kickpanels?
I am definitely interested in these. I would love to put my MB Quart QSD's down there. I just hope the emergency brake wouldn't get in the way. Man, if I could get these in tan, this would be amazing, I am getting excited.- ThomasJ25

Rear Liftgate
Wow, thanks for that help. I guess I won't see what I am really getting into till I do it. I am going to pcik up a sheet of B-Quiet Extreme, plus I need to find a good spray that I can pretty much coat anything that is rattling after I put down the damping material. What is a good product...- ThomasJ25

Rear Liftgate
So does the back snap off easily? I just don't want to damage anything while I do this. Do I need any tools? I don't have a heat gun, so I guess I will pick up some dynamat extreme and some expanding foam. Thanks for your help.- ThomasJ25

Rear Liftgate
I already have a pretty nice sub in the back of my explorer, but in a week or so, I am getting my hands on a JL 10W7. The back liftgate, the plastic inside already rattles a little, and its going to get a lot worse soon. I was wondering how easy it is to take that off and apply some more...- ThomasJ25

JL 10W7 and JL 500/1
That definitely makes me feel better. With the alpine pushing 110x4 to the MB Quart QSD's, and the JL 500/1 pushing the 10W7, and having my 1 Farad Cap, its nice to know someone out there has a similar setup and doesn't have any problems. Thanks for the help, and hopefully this will work.- ThomasJ25

JL 10W7 and JL 500/1
I am not running all JL amps, like I said, I have an Alpine MRD-F572, which is a 5 channel amp. However, when I get the 500/1, I will no longer be using the 5th channel on the Alpine, so that shouldn't draw to many amps anymore. In terms of a monoblock amp, I really like the JL and if I can...- ThomasJ25

JL 10W7 and JL 500/1
I am currently running an Alpine MRD-F572, which is 110x4 and 389x1 on the birthsheet to MB Quart QSD213's up front, and MB Quart DKD157's in the rear. I am about to get a JL 10W7 in a sealed box and run it from a JL 500/1. I don't know how much the alternator puts out. I am hoping that the...- ThomasJ25
