    No, You can hook up both subs to that amp! It is called bridging the subs. That amp is bridgable down to 2ohm I believe, so you would need two 4ohm subs. Then, you will bridge the subs parallel to the amp. How you do that is to take one positive from one speaker and hook it to the other speakers...

    Oh, and don't go to EBAY! keep it local. you will have better luck and customer service! The Kicker subs should go for $90per sub and the amp is $200 that will leave you with enough for wiring and a box, Minus tax of course!!! Good Luck

    That is true! The install has alot to do with it. Actually it's the box. Make sure you have the correct cubic space for the woofers! I run this set up right now and I have a box that is 1.5 cubic feet per sub. Also you can never have enough power!!!!

    I have a K&N air system on mine and it has the filter and a black box with a deal that goes into the tubular housing. That must be the mass air flow sensor!

    They say an explorer my year gets 15mpg in city, I get maybe 12mpg. I did put some new yokohama geolander at's on, and went to a 255/70/r16 instead of standard 245/70/r16,s.
