High milage explorers?
We have 138,000 miles on our 96 Explorer, we had no major problems with it. Just do regualar maintence on it, oil(mobile 1), tire, brakepads and tune ups. We are still on our first transmission, knock on wood. The only mod on it is a K&N air filter. Ron- tango_28

100,000 Mile Club
Just hit 102,000 on my 96 xlt, the only thing done on the explorer are the brakes and a tune up. It's getting better gas mileage now at 22highway 17 city. Change the oil every 5000 miles with Mobile one.:bounce:- tango_28

rear rotors
I'm trying remove the rear rotors off my 96 explorers, does any have any idea in how remove the rotors. I have the brake pads and the calipers off.- tango_28
