front axle well, I thought I'd maybe try to swap in a solid front axle first too. I don't really like the setup right now. I think its really my only complaint. Any suggestions on what type of axle fits the best?- rdrunner_ca

Superlift?
Okay....I have to ask. I've noticed that quite a few fellow Explorer owners use Superlift 5.5" Suspension lift...are they any good? When I went to my local Off-road supply shop they warned me off the Superlift and advised that I use either Trailmaster or Skyjacker....I'm confused (not an...- rdrunner_ca

Help!!
Okay...I'm having a slight problem and I hope that some of you guys can help out. When driving my Explorer the engine will rev up to approx. 2000 RPM's but then suddenly kick down to about 1200. I was going around 80 km/h at the time and still had my foot on the gas. The engine then started...- rdrunner_ca

Cooper Tires?

Cooper Tires?
Okay...I have to ask....what about the Cooper Tires? When I called around about tires, one of the shops recommended Cooper Discover LT's. From what I understand it's a fairly small tire manufacture. I want a good tire off road as well as on so I'm not sure what to go with. I was looking for...- rdrunner_ca

body lift vs. suspension lift
exactly so you know my pain then....there's so much to take into account. My buddy just modified his Cherokee with a 4" suspension lift and when all was said and done....it cost him close to $3000.00. 'Course us Canadians have all the lovely taxes to pay and that doesn't help!- rdrunner_ca

body lift vs. suspension lift
I have a '92 Explorer 4x4 4-dr and I would like to lift it. The biggest problem I'm having is that the suspension lift is really costly. I have priced out a couple of different brands but when all is said and done I'm looking at around $2500.00 (cdn). Would it be bad if I started with a 3...- rdrunner_ca
