how often do temp senders go bad on these cars?
My needle always sits just below the "N" on the NORMAL range. Even in 110 degree heat in the summers here in Phx. What I did notice early on is that in the mornings when I first start it the needle will gradually warm up to the middle, stay there for a minute or two, and drop down to it's...- Overkil

Can someone explain what I need for a SOA conversion?
I did a SOA about six months ago and my set up was exactly like josh's pictured. I figured I could just mount it up and lose a little travel, keep it that way for a while until I figured out what I wanted to do.....I lost nearly all my travel....bottomed out on everything. It got old fast. I...- Overkil

regearing for 33's
I've been wondering the same thing. I'm leaning towards 4.56 gears. With 33's and 4.56s, what would we be looking at as far as RPM at, say, 75mph? Sorry 95offroadx, didn't mean to hijack the thread but maybe that info would be helpful for you, too. :)- Overkil

Several people on the site have done it. I've been reading lots & lots of old posts over the last few days, some even include pictures. Use the search function and you'll get lots of results. I ran my search using "component speakers" and got 12-13 pages. I realize you may not be doing...- Overkil

Vibration at speed?
I ahve the same problem - I was told by Discount Tire that the tires are "cupped" and that replacing the tires should solve the problem. Tires all balanaced fine. My vibrations start at around 65mph and are gone at about 72mph. I can cruise all day long at 75-80mph with no vibration. Just...- Overkil

Super Lift install in Progress...Pics..
Hey Matt, couple of questions for you....are you using the stock radius arms? And if so did you drop the back end of the radius arms with drop brackets or are you still using the stock mounting locations? I can't tell by looking at the last picture.... thx, Mark- Overkil

Which brand of tires do you run
Super Swamper Trxus M/T Well, technically I would be running these right now if they weren't on back order but (ordered them 5/23/04 from 4wp)......I've been assured they will arrive sometime in my lifetime, though. Feels like it's already been a lifetime - I really want my new tires.......- Overkil

steering wheel cover disintegrating
Happens to me too Well, finally, I'm not the only one. My '92 started doing this about a year ago. Oozes onto the seat, gets all over my hands, clothes, etc. What I ended up doing was going out with an old towel and milking as much out as I could. The heat here in Phx doesn't help any...- Overkil

Sony deck, why all the hate?
My last HU was a sony. Purchased it new summer of 2001. Had it in two different vehicles. Worked great for 18 mons - right up until it was stolen out of the X. Let's hope it took a crap right after that.....In all seriousness, I plan on going with Sony again for my next HU.- Overkil
