how to take off inner wheel bearing????
The new one should just slide back on, the old bearing got hot and kind of welded itself on there, but you shouldn't have a problem with putting the new one on, you can also remove the outer part of the bearing so just the race is left, and grind a little of the race away so that it is thinner...- Perrysfabnfiber

Extreme Steering wheel Vibration over 30 MPH, Please help!!
i dont think it is cuz of your tires not being balanced, it is that your tires are wearing bad, if you have had the rear tires on the rear the whole time, and you put them on the front, it will probably take care of the problem, if you have rotated them, and they both had the chance to wear bad...- Perrysfabnfiber

Extreme Steering wheel Vibration over 30 MPH, Please help!!
it is most likely a combination of your tires wearing bad, and your alignment. If you rotate your tires, that is if the back tires havent been worn bad by being on the front, and align it, it will probably go away. my f 150 that i have did the same thing at about 30, if you stay on the gas...- Perrysfabnfiber

'00 XLT - Accelerates when pressing brake pedal
if the problem isn't hitting the brake pedal and gas pedal at the same time, and you take your foot off the brake, then you have just caused your self an accident. i suggest putting it into neutral first, and then seeing if it was actually your foot pressing the gas pedal. although it...- Perrysfabnfiber

PO171 and 174 along with a tranny problem...
9 times out of ten it is your 02 sensors if you are getting the bank running lean codes. if you have a scanner or, the place you got the codes from has one, you can watch the 02 sensor range to see if it is switching back and forth, or just staying still, or if it is slow at switching.- Perrysfabnfiber

01 Sport Trac tranny woes
I can't speek for valve body being loose or the gasket, have never had that happen to me, so i can't say that is or isn't the problem. I have had that problem happen with a couple of trannys, and when it does, we drain a quart of tranny fluid, and add a quart of motor oil, it helps lubricate...- Perrysfabnfiber

i think my transmission is dropping
trans problems you are going to need a new transmission for sure. If i am correct, you probably started having problems after you changed the transmission fluid. it is weird, but believe it or not, sometimes you have a tranny that you think is working fine, you change the fluid, and then it...- Perrysfabnfiber

'00 XLT - Accelerates when pressing brake pedal
Aftermarket edals? i am almost positive that it was just an accident of hitting the gas at the same time. One explorer i drove had those wanabe racing pedals bolted to the factory ones, and they were even wider, so it was almost impossible to step on the brake without hitting the gas. If...- Perrysfabnfiber

Cost of conversion kit The conversion kit runs 700 for the fenders, hood, and grill / headepanel assembly. We are working on making a one piece front end for this same conversion, but for now, it is available in the seperate pieces.- Perrysfabnfiber

Mistakingly poured power steering fluid into radiator
If your explorer hasn't been run yet, just drain it and flush it out, if it has been run, take one of the hoses off that goes to your heater core and take the plug out of your radiator, and then run your explorer with the heater core hose disconnected, the heater on, and a garden hose keeping...- Perrysfabnfiber
