    My tachometer is pegged at 4,000 when running. What may be the problem? Where do I start to diagnose the problem?

    Truck won't start with key. everything works when key is in on position. when key further turned to start position - Nothing. If I leave key in start position, remove red/lt blue wire from starter solenoid tererminal and jumper from positive battery post to this same solenoid terminal - WALA...
