Hey guys, Thanks again for all the help. When I finally got the shift motor out and tore it apart the brushes were dirty. So I took some emery cloth and cleaned up both the brushes and the armature. HELP REMOVING FRONT SPINDLE'S
I want to thank all of you guys for the helpful hints in getting the spindle off. I finally got it off and found my problem. As for smacking it like it was the inlaw's I could never do that, as after 23 yrs of the same inlaw's I would trade the wife before I got rid of the her parent's (lol)...- poppie

HELP REMOVING FRONT SPINDLE'S
I am trying to replacing my left front axle u-joint and the spindle is rusted on. Have tried using a block of wood and a large mallet ( sledge hammer ) and no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? Am considering starting the garage on fire and waiting till the fire dept leaves to see if the...- poppie

T/SIGNALS KEEP POPPING FUSES
Bob, I just went out and tried it again and they stayed going that time until I put it into reverse. I beleive I may have found it. It sounds like I might have a wire up inside the steering column that is rubbing or it may be the ignition switch. I will keep you all posted as to my adventure...- poppie

T/SIGNALS KEEP POPPING FUSES
The fuse rating is 15 amps I have tried up to a 25amp. I hate to go any higher. Of course if I do and it doesnt pop I might find the problem when it starts to burn. Thx Guys- poppie

T/SIGNALS KEEP POPPING FUSES
The problem is they work without starting the truck, but as soon as I start it the fuse pops. I don't even have to turn the signals on. Someone said it may be the ignition switch which I guess is on the lower part of the steering column. Anybody have any suggestions???- poppie

Everytime I start my Explorer I blow the turn signal fuse. If I just turn the key on without starting it the fuse doesnt blow. I have replace all the relays and the turn signal lever on the dash.
