tryed all dealers around me and all say no engine shop dont have them need camshaft tools or pics of the tools to see locking pegs thanks darby

no small engine place has the tools and ford will not loan the tools out need to see tools to copy or camshaft data to set it up there must be some figers somewere for it darby

hi this is the 1998 X that won't rev i am pretty sure it's late valve timing and wonderd you veiw's on it i connected a vacume gauge tp the inlet manifold and acording to the reading's tell's me late valve timing and all so thinking about it for an over head cam she is well nosiey (tappety)...

talking to a man today who said that he had a x with the same symtoms turned out to be valve timing chain guide's worn and broken engine out :( it say's that you can check timing with engine in do that first i think

can't find someone that can test pcm (ecu) next thing's one from the scrapy and take a chance or strip down and check timing look's like geting in there to work on it :) thanks darby
