Flowmaster 40 Muffler
I don't remember mufflers having to get broken in. My flows sound exactly the same as the day I put them in on in every car I've put them on. Just wondering...- 76Bronco

Rack and Pinion With Solid Axle?
I have a dilemma. Today I came home to see the Explorer and I completely forgot about it being R & P. How does one go about putting a steering system with balls in there that still drives OK. Is there any specific steering Box that I could use or should I just start looking for a box that...- 76Bronco

What mods should I make to imoprove gas mileage?
Do a full tune-up (wires, plugs, oil, thermostat) a K&N Filter, Flowmaster, and try cleaning the injectors with a good cleaner. Make sure your tank is low when you put it in there. Also make sure you get the right temp thermostat as too low of a temperature will force the engine into open loop...- 76Bronco

If I were to just take the ABS out completely (It just seems to get in the way) would the All wheel drive just go berserk and permanently lock in 4WD, or will it just act...- 76Bronco

ABS and All-Wheel drive with a solid front axle
Thanks Robb, first off I don't have an axle yet because this is a summer time project. I think if I use Late model Cherokee shafts (297-x u-joints) I could use their ABS toner ring so I think that would work. Cherokees have solid shafts so this should work. Also what type and lift size leaf...- 76Bronco

ABS and All-Wheel drive with a solid front axle
Hey guys, I've been a long time viewer of your posts, but never have asked a question. So here goes, I just got a '97 XLT 4.0 L Exploder and I was wondering what must be done to keep the AWD working and maintain the ABS if I swap in a Jeep high-pinion Dana 30 in front? It will be a wheeler/...- 76Bronco
