i was wondering since the original pipe on my 98 explorer sport is 2", could the flowmaster super 40 muffler which only comes in a 2 1/4" and up be welded to the stock pipe?- autigers2325

Modifying Ford Explorer Leaf Springs for Lift using F-150 Leaf Springs
will this mod work if i have a 98 explorer sport. are the leafs shorter than a regular explorer? mine only has 1 leaf right now but i wanted to get extra lift in my x with the f150 leaf pack.- autigers2325

air intake
for the adapter i went down to home depot and bought a 3 piece shower drain with a 3 inch opening and cut the inside lip off and drilled 4 holes for where the MAS hooked up. Then I took out the old box and that was pretty much it.- autigers2325
