Fuel Injectors
I have a set of six brand new fuel injectors out of a 2003 model ford explorer 4.0 OHC motor that I am trying to find out the flow rating of. They are light blue in color and have part numers 0 280 158 185 (Bosch I think) on 1 side and 4L2E-G5A ( Ford I think) on the other side. Does anyone know...- exploderltd

I have an interesting mod. Floor shifter in automatic Explorers. Would it work?
I have a 1998 model explorer limited and it has a floor shifter, but as said before the letters are on the rh side of the shifter and the handbrake behind the shifter. As far as i know all explorers that came into australia have floor shifters. For more information on the australian explorers...- exploderltd

1998 Explorer Diagnostics
I have a 1998 Build date Dec1997 Explorer and need to read my fault codes. I beleive this car is OBD 2, am i right? So I should be able to read my codes with a reader like the one below obd2 reader Am I correct in this? Any recommendation on readers? Thanks- exploderltd

4.0 OHC Sensors
Thanks for the info, and yes I am in Sydney Australia, All the sensors seem to have the same connectors, the only sensors I will be using from the 03 motor will be crank, and the 2 water temp sensors so hopefully all should be alright. Aaron- exploderltd

4.0 OHC Motor Lifting Points
Thanks for that info so far, I am picking up a brand new 2003 model OHC motor tomorrow so I will see what it has for lifting it, hopefully some nice lifting lugs off the manifold. It is a 'production ready' engine from ford so hopefully all the timing chain problems are fixed. I'm still waiting...- exploderltd

Silly question, I am just about to pull the motor on my 98 Explorer and had a quick look to find the engine lifting points but can't find them? Anyone know where they are mounted?
