bolt wont come off, engine will not turn over
I think with the belt off and a good soaking with PBblaster, the bolt should come right off. There is no threadlocker on it. The only things holding it on are torque and rust. Good luck- viiidude

Recently changed trans fluid, now slipping!
Another issue that I've read about, is the seal in the filter you installed may be loose. If it is loose, it will have a small leak causing a pressure loss. Check the fluid level first, then perhaps reopen to ensure the filter is tight. Good luck- viiidude

Sometimes the tranny shifts slow
Well, mileage and age of fluid don't appear to be issues. I'd check again after warm-up to ensure the fluid level is good. Also, you may want to disconnect the battery for a couple of hours to reset the computer. That could help.- viiidude

ABS light
There is a cheap code reader for your ABS issues. Walmart sells them for around $20. It's the Ford Code Reader for Ford, Lincoln & Mercury 1981 to 1995. Use it and check for your ABS codes. Otherwise, you'll just be guessing and throwing parts at it. 93-95 Explorers with 4WAL can use...- viiidude

Good place for Service CD
If you check out EBay, you'll find a number of CD sellers. Typically, the CD appears to sell for around $5 with a $3 S&H charge. If you buy 2 CDs, the sellers will most likely only charge the S&H for 1. The price you paid is within reason.- viiidude

Broken Window Guide inside door
"My 93 FE has had a window guide break in both doors. These would be the guides from the left of the door if you were sitting in the drivers seat and right if you were sitting in the passanger seat. The place where the bolt was holding it in place just tore through. What can I do to resolve this...- viiidude

REAR VIEW MIRROR!!!!
My rear view mirror recently fell off. Found rear view mirror glue at the local Lowe's for less than $2. You razor blade off the plastic piece on the windshield, apply the glue, press against the windshield for 60 seconds, and then drive on. I would speculate that you could force a razor...- viiidude

tranny trouble-code P1746
The cost of a rebuild can run between $1,500 and $2,200, so... I think I'd wait a bit before putting out that much cash. If you do the routine upkeep items (and add a tranny cooler), you'd be surprised how many miles you can put on a tranny.- viiidude

Power steering ???
Is it possible to drain this stuff out on your own and refill it?? If so could someone try to describe how to do this? There are two approachs to working on the PS fluid. One is to use a suction gun and suck out the fluid from the reservoir. You'll only be able to remove about 10 ozs at a...- viiidude

auto tranny fluid change
Checked out that link. That looks like a pretty cool set up for a V6 tranny. The 4R is serviceable by dropping the pan to remove the filter and actually has a drain in the torque convertor.- viiidude

auto tranny fluid change
The only way to truly check the accumulator is to open it up. Once you have the pan off for the drain, you're not really doing that much more work. So, it only makes sense to do the drain and accumulator at the same time. Follow that article above. You'll need a strong pair of snap ring...- viiidude

auto tranny fluid change
If you have a 4R70W tranny, you may want to check out the 1-2 accumulator while doing a fluid change. Here is a link detailing it: http://www.markviii.org/LOD2/1_2_Accumulator_paper.htm for a Mark 8 with the same tranny. Check out TSB 97-11-11 for more info on the accumulator issue. This...- viiidude
