Whats my next MOD
How about something that will help keep the truck on the road. A xmission cooler, a remote mount oil / xmission filter setup (makes life less painfull), and last but not least what kind of play pretty / just want thing do YOU want.- sparkmechanic

Hood Won't Open! Help!
I popped the hood on an aunt's Lincoln MK6 by reaching from under with a hydraulic jack handle with the roll pin through the end. Catching the ear on the latch. Hood released.- sparkmechanic

Windstar overhead console install in X!
For one person working alone even better than a light or to assist with a meter try using a seabelt "dinger" or door "dinger". That way, even when you can't see to tell you can hear.- sparkmechanic

can you hot glue carpet?
Pull the carpet, cut and shape your patch, to wear/age your patch wash in a net bag or pantyhose (best) that way you can even match color. Use carpet TAPE and a hot iron, there you go a nearly seamless patch. If you are going to do it, do it RIGHT, the FIRST time.- sparkmechanic

Help! Can't get into my Explorer
I don't know about an X but on a Towncar you take the little jack handle for your FLOOR jack (you know the one with the little ears sticking out on one end) and reach up from below pop the hood, charge the battery for an appropriate length of time (slow is better) and then use your remote to...- sparkmechanic
