    automatic trans

    Have a new problem with the automatic in my 94 xlt(4.0) When started from cold, takes a few seconds to engage in reverse, and then takes time to shift into drive when changed via the column lever.     fluid and filter changes

    Just bought a 94 xlt, runs fine; would like to ask any\everybody about getting the oil changed. Ford dealer or does it matter? Also, what about getting the a/t flushed? Thanks to all, john
