Multiple suspension noises
I have continued to confirm this same thing. Now I know that its either a parts clearance issue or maybe an oil viscosity thing with the differential. neither one of those bothers me a WHOLE lot, but the noise is still annoying. could be poor clearances with the front ring and pinion gear and...- El_Steveo

Lowering Springs and Rim/Tire Questions
I'm assuming that was just the camber? I know I would actually be ok with a slight bit of negative camber- El_Steveo

Lowering Springs and Rim/Tire Questions
I've been shopping between the two springs myself and have come to the conclusion that the Steeda spring set may be the better option. while I would love to go a bit lower, suspension travel is important to me as the roads around me aren't great. I would be less inclined to install something...- El_Steveo

Extended wheel studs/ Spacers
I see plenty of people going with boras or similar, but i have the same opinion of the tire poke. looks weird on a street car to me.- El_Steveo

No Moonroof
I would have preferred to not have the moonroof. It is loud on the interstate from wind noise. Its nice when i use it, but I don't think its worth the option. personal opinion I know in my area (fairly large metropolitan) I couldn't find any ST's without one. I do not know about timberlines.- El_Steveo

Antifreeze
Dealership does not want to admit they messed up. Luckily, your car decided something was wrong and i doubt any damage was done, but it is incredibly inconvenient.- El_Steveo

Extended wheel studs/ Spacers
It will definitely be a pain. It would be tempting to pay someone to do that. the other option is to buy 1 inch for the rear and 3/4 inch for the front (slightly wider) spacers and just cut the original studs slightly to fit behind the wheel. i guess either way there would have to be a stud...- El_Steveo

Extended wheel studs/ Spacers
Good Morning all, I'm interested in putting wheel spacers on my ST and I'm thinking about going with the H&R DRS Trak spacers. 17mm for the rear and 13 mm for the front. They come with extended wheel studs. has anybody replaced these before, and mainly, did you do it on the car? I know older...- El_Steveo

Replacement Tires
to be honest, 30-40,000 miles is pretty good for a performance all season, I'd think about buying the same ones again. I know tires size is hard to find with those 21 inch wheels.- El_Steveo

update for those who care. We got somewhat of a winter storm in my area and temps were down into the 20's. I drove the ST for about 20 miles from a cold start and the vehicle never made the noise. this morning it was in the upper 30's and the vehicle did make the noise.. That's all I have...- El_Steveo

Multiple suspension noises
well, I'm back in Virginia after the 3000 mile trip. sounds aren't any worse than they were at 2000 miles into the trip. the explorer now has 6500 miles on it. I have an appointment tomorrow for an oil change and to have this noise looked at. I'm fully prepared for them to start throwing parts...- El_Steveo

Multiple suspension noises
Well, I’m on a 3000 mile trip and I’m 2000 miles into it. I swear the front end now sounds like it’s going to fall apart. Again everything was tight, I’m starting to think it’s 100 percent in the drive train or motor mounts. I hear a jarring sound when the auto start/stop kicks on and I let off...- El_Steveo

Yes, I helped start that fiasco on the Facebook pages. I have a 3 bolt subframe, I haven’t had issues yet but I was working on finding solutions. This is a different thing. Yea actually got up under my ST lol it’s wheels on the ground and rocked it hard back and forth. I’m almost convinced it’s...- El_Steveo

Multiple suspension noises
Hey Guys, first post. I have a 2021 build in august of 21 with this same exact noise. I've gone through the front suspension, nothing is loose. It occurs during the same situations, etc. I'm glad to see its not a safety concern, and I've had 0 issues with my explorer otherwise. I do believe its...- El_Steveo
