OD Light flashing constantly w/ new tranny
Out of curiousity, does your explorer shift pretty firm with the tranny you got from Roadmaster? Mine shifts pretty firm and the manager at the tranny shop called them about it and they said it should shift hard becuase they put a superior linkage kit in. Anyone know anything about that?- ESF

OD Light flashing constantly w/ new tranny
According to the paper, the technician's name was TT but I do not believe that is who we dealth with on the phone. The problem turned out to be a bad torque converter. Roadmaster overnighted a new one to the transmission shop that I took my Explorer to and Roadmaster also paid the entire cost...- ESF

OD Light flashing constantly w/ new tranny
Ok. The guy at Lee Myles had my car all day today. He tested it like crazy. After talking to Roadmaster (where I got my tranny) and the guy at Lee Myles, it was determined that it was either an electrical problem or it was the seal behind the torque converter. Apparently this seal was on...- ESF

OD Light flashing constantly w/ new tranny
I have this same problem. I just put a rebuilt transmission into my 96 Explorer 4.0L with the 4r55e transmission and the light seems to start blinking once I get on the highway but once it comes on it stays on. The transmission also seems to shift hard from 1-2 and 2-3. When we put the...- ESF
