sounds like the blend door in your heatrer plenum. Search for the thread tith either blend door, or eatc.

I'm pretty sure it's loose... if I put my hand on it when it's closed, and push it, it makes the same noise. And it does seem to move a little too much. Also, if I close the sliding sunshade, the squeeking seems to go away. Thanks- Greg

I did not buy the part, due to the difficulty of the labor. You have to take the dash out to replace the blend door mechanism. Instead I "jury rigged" the system so it now works 100% now. You may not want to do this if you are not too comfortable, I would suggest taking it to the dealer. If...
