Overheating and coolant overflow.
That sounds exactly like what mine started doing B4 the head gasket/heads went. Check your oil carefully and make sure you don't have water in it. Also check the radiator fluid for oil. Good Luck- DJ4WD

Transmission removal
Did you take the four nuts holding the TC to the starter ring out? You have to access the nuts thru the starter hole on drivers side. Kind of tight fit - do one at a time and rotate to the next one - if the back end is unbolted and the trans to engine bolts are out is should slide free and...- DJ4WD

Help! - 97 vs 94 4.0 swap
Thanks for the info - I though everything would work but I just got cold feet at the last minute. The old 4.0 got 168K hard miles, I hope the new one lasts the same. Since I haven't done a swap in a while any tips B4 I start?- DJ4WD
