Will 31x10.50x15's fit without problems on a stock 98 4x4 Explorer?
I just swapped out my 235/75's for some 31x10.5" BFG Land Terrains. I am so pleased with the swap. The truck looks a lot better, and the handling improved (prolly more due to tire quality than tire size). I used spray foam and it's better than Dynamat!
A couple things: 1. Are there any tricks to removing the interior panels? I've done all four door panels but that's it (speaker install). Do you need a guide or is it pretty straightforward? 2. How much improvement in terms of a) outside noise coming in, b) rattles, and c) speaker...- Nwallins

6x8 door speakers
watch out for 3- and 4-way coax speakers. They can be more of a marketing gimmick than a real value. One decent tweeter is better than two cheap ones. Generally speaking, it's the woofers that struggle with bandwidth, not the tweeters.- Nwallins

Tire size calculator (metric <===> American) MS-Excel
I made a spreadsheet that takes either the 3 American tire measurements (diameter (in), width (in), wheel diameter (in)) - ie 33x12x15 - and gives back the metric measurements (width (mm), aspect ratio (%), and wheel diameter (in)) - ie 275/75/15, or go the other way around. Enjoy Also...- Nwallins
