    It's official trans shot..here's my options.. what to do?

    first post...o/d light flashing,trans noise

    This is my first post here & I have a question.My wife went to church this morning( I had to stay home w/h a sick 12 yr old) & says the o/d light started flashing & truck is making a noise,so I drove it ...when it is in gear it makes a rattling sound some what like a converter shield come loose...

    newbie has question..o/d light flashing,trans noise
