    Is it possible that the stop light switch isn’t in all the way or adjusted properly? If everything else is working properly except your brake lights when the vehicle is on I would start from there again. Remove it, adjust it, and reinstall.

    UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!! I took it to a local shop that specializes in being electrical wizards and have found the issue. I had a bad connector. New harness in and everything works as it should. Almost $400 for diagnostic testing parts and labor. Ford Part number: BB5Z13410B.

    Thank you!! I’ll give it a try. They have been on now for about 4 days in a row which is the longest that I’ve seen this issue. I’m hoping it’s just as simple as replacing a tail light assembly ya know

    It’s a 2014 the brake lights are LED.

    Up to this point I have not noticed any water or condensation build up in any tail light assembly. But I will give that a shot. Thank you!
