thanks guys and gals it turned out to be the lower intake gasket I tore it all down and cleaned everything up and put the new gasket on last night but now have to get a set of valve cover gaskets because I broke one of them when I took it off. Other than that all I have to do is put it all back...

water coming from what looks like under the intake on the passenger side front almost by the thermostat housing and there is another hose there but dont know what it is. Has anyone else had this problem it came right out of nowhere. Will try to have somemore info tonight.

I had a 92 once that I thought it was the cat but after changing the the whole exhaust system found that it was really bad plugs. The point is start with the easy stuff first because it was a Bit$$ to change out the exhaust he is probally right it is something to do with the EGR or mass air...

yes the check engine light will come on when the maf is unpluged. But the stalling when it is pluged in is weird whats your air filter like is it really bad?
